Senior SEO Specialist
Location: Hybrid Working

We’re looking for a creative and ambitious SEO Specialist to shake up our SEO offering and drive results into a number of our key brands.

This is a unique role, requiring senior-level SEO experience but not involving team/line management. This is an individual contributor role where you’ll be expected to get your hands dirty and put your SEO credentials to the test.

The ideal candidate will work closely with all stakeholders and is expected to take ownership of rankings through the delivery of an effective SEO strategy, freelancer management and stakeholder management. 

As a self-starter you will be able to independently execute SEO work for our brands, chase results and be able to identify both quick SEO wins and longer term projects. You’ll be working closely with both the Search Director and VPs to drive websites towards their targets.

You will be responsible and accountable for SEO performance across the business and not shy away from getting stuck in to fix errors, improve performance and ultimately grow our organic offering to drive revenue in both existing and new markets.

The Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Ideating and testing of new tactics and strategies to deliver ranking targets
  • Creating and executing directly on strategies designed to achieve ambitious SEO ranking and revenue targets
  • Auditing and reviewing our site performance and strategies to find opportunities to deliver SEO ranking & revenue growth
  • Conducting competitor analysis to find opportunities and new tactics and strategies to deploy to drive SEO ranking & revenue growth across link building, on site, content
  • Identify weaknesses within the SEO profile of our websites and develop strategies for growth in multiple international markets
  • Keeping ahead of and reacting to Google Algorithm updates, analyzing changes across the market and actioning projects as a result/in preparation of these updates
  • Analyse markets, competitors and trends to find sweet spots for delivery
  • Briefing technical site improvements into product and ensure they meet all Google guidelines / carrying out technical updates where possible
  • Managing freelance SEO specialists to extend your output on sites

Skills required:

  • Ability to produce strategy and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
  • 5+ years experience in an SEO role – preferably in a highly competitive B2C environment with examples of driving rankings, traffic and revenue
  • Strong knowledge and experience using SEO tools (Majestic, Ahrefs, GSC, ScreamingFrog / SiteBulb / DeepCrawl, SEMRush, etc..)
  • Strong command of the English language and grammar
  • Experience in SEO across multiple international markets 
  • Demonstrable examples of successful SEO campaigns to be discussed at your interview

Location: Hybrid Working

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Javascript developer to join our fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with other departments and management to understand the needs of the business and deliver high impact features and improvements
  • Develop and maintain highly performant code
  • Keeping technical documentation up to date
  • Keeping up to date with new technologies and advancements
  • Take a hands-on approach to all areas of the role

Skills required:

  • Experience working with a modern, component driven framework (i.e. React)
  • Experience building responsive websites utilising a framework such as TailwindCSS

  • Manage content plans & delivery, from ideation to publishing and ongoing content maintenance
  • Use keyword research, search volumes & SEO best practices to influence priorities, briefs, page structures and how to meet user needs
  • Make sure everything we publish sticks to our content guidelines and briefs
  • Use freelance resource to help deliver various types of content (guides, reviews, campaigns, data journalism, news, visual assets etc)
  • Evolve our style guides and develop a voice for content 
  • Use Google Analytics and Search Console data to assess content performance and influence next steps

About you:

  • A genuine passion for the craft of writing

  • 2+ years experience writing & editing long-form, highly researched and engaging web content
