Content Writer & Editor - Sports Betting and Casino
Location: Hybrid Working

Day to day, your focus will be on writing and editing all forms of content for our comparison brands. You’ll strive to ensure our content is market-leading, meeting the needs of our users and keeping search engines happy. 

You will manage and deliver an effective content strategy across sites in our betting and gaming portfolio. You’ll lean on a team of freelancers to help deliver results, while taking wide-ranging ownership of website content quality and production. 

You’ll have great ideas for content angles, an appreciation of search intent, and be able to develop a clear voice for a website. You’ll quickly get to know your project inside out, giving it care & attention while nurturing further growth and success. The Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Be the dedicated lead writer and editor for some of Intent’s brands/websites
  • Collaborate with teammates in SEO, PR & product to achieve a variety of content-led wins
  • Manage content plans & delivery, from ideation to publishing and ongoing content maintenance
  • Use keyword research, search volumes & SEO best practices to influence priorities, briefs, page structures and how to meet user needs
  • Make sure everything we publish sticks to our content guidelines and briefs
  • Use freelance resource to help deliver various types of content (guides, reviews, campaigns, data journalism, news, visual assets etc)
  • Evolve our style guides and develop a voice for content 
  • Use Google Analytics and Search Console data to assess content performance and influence next steps

About you:

  • A genuine passion for the craft of writing
  • Curious and inquisitive about learning new things and developing your career
  • 2+ years experience writing & editing long-form, highly researched and engaging web content in highly competitive markets
  • Familiarity with SEO and how it impacts the world of digital publishing
  • Friendly and personable character
  • Experience working in a startup environment preferred

Staff Writer - Personal Finance
Location: Hybrid Working

We’re looking for a content writer to join our in-house content team and increase content output across a number of key brands, creating copy that will engage users and convert to leads.

This is a role for a curious writer with an interest in personal finance who is comfortable with creating written content and updating existing copy on our websites. This will range from commercial content / landing pages / guides to news and digital PR content.

The candidate will ensure content meets brand requirements and passes our internal content checks.

As an inquisitive content professional, you will have a good understanding of how content contributes to achieving our business goals and our websites’ growth in highly competitive markets.

You will work closely with all content and SEO stakeholders within the company and will be expected to create copy that fulfills both content and SEO requirements. Your work will need to meet a number of KPIs ranging from page rankings to content engagement.

SEO Executive
Location: Hybrid Working

We’re looking for an ambitious SEO Executive to deliver on our SEO strategies across all brands.

The candidate is expected to take ownership of delivery of SEO into growing international websites, with a focus on using time effectively to achieve maximum SEO value. Delivery includes all aspects of SEO from technical SEO to off-site work.

As a self-starter you will be able to independently execute SEO work as part of a wider strategy, chase results and be able to identify quick SEO wins along the way to help facilitate your work and achieve rankings. You’ll be working closely with both the Search Director and SEO Manager to ensure your SEO skills are continuing to develop as you grow into a more senior role.

  • Identifying search opportunities to ensure our brands appear in revenue driving SERPs (Eng & Non-Eng)
  • Carrying out on-site content optimisation
  • Briefing technical site improvements and working with developers to completion
  • Off-site SEO optimisation and relationship management
  • Reporting and analysis of sites performance, competitor activity and SERPs development

Skills required:

  • 3+ years experience in an SEO role – preferably in a highly competitive B2C environment
  • Strong knowledge and experience using SEO tools (Majestic, Ahrefs, GSC, ScreamingFrog / SiteBulb, etc..)
  • Strong command of the English language and grammar.
  • Demonstrable examples of successful SEO campaigns to be discussed at your interview (both onsite and offsite)

PPC Manager
Location: Hybrid Working

We’re looking for a driven, analytical and commercially minded PPC Manager to take ownership of our PPC strategy and accounts to maximise ROI.

This role will report into the Commercial Director and be responsible for full funnel performance, as well as planning and optimising campaigns across all paid search platforms.

You’ll have a keen eye for numbers while being able to interpret reports into clear executable actions, as well as the ability to sniff out opportunities to further expand our PPC operation.

  • P&L responsibility for all PPC accounts
  • Perform in-depth PPC analysis, actioning findings to help maximise ROI
  • Work closely with the commercial team to identify new opportunities and optimise performance
  • Perform routine account maintenance and optimisation through campaign, keyword and ad copy analysis
  • Maintain a proactive approach to ad copy and landing page testing to improve conversion rate
  • Ensure best practices and new developments are in place across all accounts
  • Keep up to date with search & PPC related trends and industry developments

Skills required:

  • At least 2 years’ experience managing PPC accounts
  • An in-depth knowledge of Google Ads & Bing Ads
  • Experience managing medium sized account budgets
  • Experienced in optimising campaigns to a target CPA and volume
  • Understanding of audience targeting and how to use it effectively
  • Understanding of scripts and how to use them to better the account performance
  • Comfortable with keyword bidding both automated/ manually
  • Strong commercial acumen, highly numerate and analytical
  • Experience with another paid discipline (native, social) is a plus
